At Liberty Elementary, the school day starts at 7:40am and ends at 2:25pm. Students may begin arriving at 7:30am, and no supervision is available before this time. Students must be picked up immediately after school. If they are not picked up by 2:35pm, they will be escorted to Kids Club, and applicable fees will apply. If you need care beyond this time, you must make arrangements with Kids Club. If you arrive after 2:35 and there is no staff outside, park in the main parking lot, enter Door A, and go to the front office.
General Reminders (Pick Up & Drop Off)
Entering School Property
Enter from 205th Ave onto the entry point on the East side of property by tree line and Liberty fields (Marked in Orange on map). Turn right into the Liberty fields parking lot and stick to the right side of the parking lot. Turn right to go counter-clockwise through the parking lot.
Exiting School Property
Once your child has entered/exited the vehicle, please use your turn signal and check your blindspot before merging into the bypass lane and proceed safely. Exit the parking lot through the same entry point (keep right), and safely make your way back to 205th Ave.
Remember:
- Make sure your child exits and enters the vehicle on the passenger side—move your carseats if necessary.
- Parents should stay in the car and should not park—staff will help make sure your student gets inside the building/to the car safely.
- If student needs assistance, pull all the way to the front of the line (prior to curve by garden).
Drop Off Procedures
Enter onto school property, and wait in line. If you are the first car there, pull all the way up to the front of the drop off zone. Students should not exit the vehicle until the vehicle is in this designated zone. Make sure to say goodbyes prior to entering the zone.
Pick Up Procedures
In order to help ensure a safe and secure student release process, we use a QR pick-up system. All families who regularly pick up their child are issued a QR pick-up permit, which is scanned every day upon pick-up. Students wait in the music room, and are released only when the pass is scanned.
Parents should line up along the curb and wait in line until there is an open spot. Have your QR code ready to scan, make sure to hold it low and flat. Staff will begin scanning passes at 2:15pm. Once a staff member scans the barcoded pass, students will be directed to the turtle flag. After your child enters the vehicle, you may safely exit the lot.
Forget your pass? You will need to park, enter into our main office (through Door A), and show your ID. We will only release students to those individuals listed as authorized in Infinite Campus. Your child will meet you in the office. To avoid this, we recommend taking a clear photo of your pass.
QR code sharing: You are able to share the QR code with others, but is the parents responsibility to monitor who has access to it. We assume that if someone has the QR code, you give them permission to pick up.
