Kindergarten Info Night
When: Feb. 13, 2023 4-6:30 pm. Informational sessions at 4:30pm, 5:15pm, & 6pm.
Where: Liberty Elementary
What: A fun night to celebrate your future Kindergartener! Get your questions answered, meet Liberty staff & teachers, tour classrooms, explore a school bus, and enjoy a free dinner!

Registering & Getting Ready for Kindergarten
We are incredibly excited to partner with you in the next step of your child's formal education! The next steps for kindergarten registration include ensuring your child has completed Early Childhood Screening (ECS) and all kindergarten registration paperwork is completed.
Remember, we're here to partner with you and help in any way we can! If you have any questions, please reach out to us!
Step 1: Complete Early Childhood Screening
The State of Minnesota mandates Early Childhood Screening (ECS) for all incoming public school kindergarteners.
If your child has not yet participated in Early Childhood Screening, you can set up an appointment through Big Lake Community Education.
Step 2: Complete Kindergarten Registration
24-25 Kindergarten Registration is now available! Find details on how to enroll on our district enrollment page.
We encourage you to register early. Register in February to receive a $30 community education voucher, or in March and April for a $15 voucher!
Step 3. Celebrate Your Kindergartner!
We are so excited to welcome the Class of 2037 next fall!
Watch this summer for details about Getting to Know You Days—a chance to meet your child's teacher and receive a personalized tour of Liberty right before school starts. We value our families, and know that a strong school-home partnership will lead to the most student growth!
